GSC Connector Worker

Google Search Console connector deployed as an independent K8s pod. Fetches search analytics and URL inspection data via OAuth; authenticates and registers with Visibility API on startup.

Overview

GSC Connector Worker is a standalone NestJS application that runs in its own Kubernetes pod (D013). It bridges Google Search Console API data into the Visibility domain.

On startup, WorkerRegistrationService registers with Visibility API through POST /visibility/connectors/register, sending x-prerender-connector-registration-secret plus capabilities, supported actions, and schema contribution.

The registered host must equal connector-gsc. Visibility API dispatch rejects external hosts, IP literals, and dotted FQDNs for this worker.

Registration Payload

On startup, the worker sends its schema contribution to Visibility API, which cascades to:

  • SchemaDictionaryService for field discovery.
  • ViewRegistryService for materialized view registration.
